A Chosen Generation
A CHOSEN GENERATION is a
Christ-centered, servant ministry
dedicated to assisting families,
churches, and schools in understanding and performing their God-given
responsibilities to define, affirm, recognize, and confirm Godly manhood
and womanhood for God's next generation of leaders. Our vision is
to see young men and women woven
into the fiber and fabric of
intergenerational churches.
Through a weekend seminar titled "Men
of Honor/Women of Virtue" the entire
congregation is brought into a clear
understanding of manhood and
womanhood from God's perspective.
Young men and women are challenged to seek to walk in their
adulthood by active participation in their local church, and fully
accepting the responsibility of leadership in every area of society.
Subjects touched on include:
- Purity
- God's strength
- Maturity vs. perfection
- Relating to authority
- God's standard for adulthood
and many other issues to equip young
people in a world whose definitions of
adulthood are confusing at best.
The weekend concludes with a powerful "Rite
of Passage" ceremony where young adults are
blessed and honored by their parents, pastor,
congregation, relatives and friends.
